LeAnne Hi everyone! I recently turned 31 (YIKES!) and I am a SAHM in Georgia. My son, Ryan, just turned 4 years old and my daughter, Kylee Anne, is 2. My husband, Jack, is in the Air Force and we are currently stationed at Robins Air Force Base. Our time here is running out and Jack should be getting orders within the next year or so and who knows where we'll land. Before meeting and marrying Jack, I was living and teaching in Panama City, Florida. We met in March 2001 and were married in October 2002. Ryan was born in March 2004 and I have been staying at home taking care of my family ever since. I do get a small break while my kids go to preschool 3 mornings a week. I was invited to this blog by Beth. She is married to my cousin Brannon and we frequently see each other at family gatherings, birthday parties, etc... Thanks for the invite Beth!!!! http://www.houseofhoward.blogspot.com/
Lesley I decline to give my age! I'm English, I moved to Atlanta, GA in early 2001, where I met Beth a couple of years later when we worked together. I met my husband, Brad in the fall of 2002, and we spontaneously got married in Las Vegas a few months later. We have two children, Patrick who was born in March 2006, and Laura who was born in June, 2007. I'm currently at home with the babies and enjoying them whilst they're little. Maybe someday I'll head back out to work as a CPA. We moved from Atlanta to Brad's hometown in Illinois in early 2006 to be closer to his family (all my family are back in England).
Liesa I am a mom of three boys (Drew - 5, Jack - 3 and Bo - 6mos.). I grew up with Beth and Angie's family and I know Melanie from college... Funny how everything eventually comes full circle, no? I am a full-time graphic designer and I do housecleaning, laundry and meals on the side (just kidding - that's just home!). John, my husband, used to do most of the cooking, but I've been doing it now for a while. His idea of cooking involves a grill or homemade italian food (he's italian). I like simple good dishes that kids don't completely scoff at - which are few! Our blog is http://auburkes.blogspot.com/
Melanie I am a Mom of 1.5 kids, Gwen and ? on the way, due in June. I am originally from Florida. I went to Auburn University, where I met Liesa. I then moved to Huntsville, AL where I met my now-husband Eric. We were transferred to SoCal for in 2002, we were married in 2003 and moved to Maryland in 2005. I stay home now with Gwen. I used to be a scientist, so I have a very follow the directions approach to cooking, but I love to cook and we hardly ever eat the same thing over and over again. I cook anything and everything. I used to cook Weight Watchers meals exclusively, but since I am pregnant, have gotten bored with them, so I am currently using a Rachel Ray cookbook I got last Christmas. I 'met' Beth through Liesa's blog and started commenting on it. Looking forward to meeting ya'll and trying your recipes! Oh, my blog And Baby Makes 4...aka Gwen's blog in the blogroll.

Beth I am a 20-something (at least for a few more months) mom of two girls, Bella - 2 and Brooklyn - 1. I am married to Brannon and we live in South Alabama. I have been a stay-at-home mom to our two girls for 15-months, but am headed back to work as an Accountant for a locally owned business. I went to the University of Alabama where I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting. I have worked in both Public and Private accounting before having kids and opting to be at home.
Angie is my older sister. Allie is my sister-in-law. LeAnne is our cousin. Lesley and I worked together in Atlanta. I grew up with Liesa's family. I met Miche through my husband, who went to Chiropractic school with her husband. I came across Mel's blog through Liesa's blog and just started commenting on her blog! Jessica and I were in Bradley Natural childbirth classes together with our first girls!
Angie I am Angie Hurst. I live in Oxford, Alabama with my husband, David, and our two gorgeous sons, DJ and Zach. I am a 4th Grade teacher at Oxford Elementary School. I have been teaching 4th grade for 4 years and am beginning my second year at OES. I had a fantastic year this past year and am looking forward to this next year.
I am Beth's "older" sister, as she said, so I guess that makes me wiser too! I am 31 -- AHHH!! . Allie is our sister-in-law, as Beth said and we grew up with Liesa's family. This is exciting to be doing and I look forward to eating some great foods!!! Quick and easy and yummy for my picky eaters is essential! If it can be covered in ketchup, DJ is happy!!!
